If you're wanting to know what Theme Deck to get to try and build into at least a budget competitive deck, then I'd say Relentless Flame or Laser Focus. In fact, it is pretty hard because most folks just haven't tested such a thing. If you meant a Standard and/or Expanded Format match by "regular game", even the best Theme Deck have such low odds of doing well against a competently made and played competitive deck that it isn't really a good way to distinguish between them. Unless it is an old, HS-era or BW-era Theme Deck I believe all of those have been left behind by power creep as well as improved Theme Deck design. It could just be bad luck or a bad Theme Deck, but it is easier for you to name a Theme Deck and so we can let you know if it is significantly weak.
